Terms of Service — Kontentra

1. Introduction

Welcome to Kontentra (“Platform”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Kontentra platform, website, and related services. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

2. Eligibility

2.1. You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account on Kontentra. If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you may use the platform only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

2.2. You must be a resident of India to participate in the revenue sharing program.

2.3. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep your account information up to date.

3. Account Terms

3.1. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share your password with anyone.

3.2. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

3.3. You must notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.

3.4. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

4. Content Submission & Rights

4.1. By submitting content to Kontentra, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to distribute, publish, reproduce, and display your content across our network of channels and partner platforms.

4.2. You retain ownership of all original content you submit. This license is solely for the purpose of distribution and monetization through our platform.

4.3. You represent and warrant that all content you submit is original, does not infringe upon any third-party intellectual property rights, and complies with applicable laws.

4.4. We reserve the right to reject, remove, or request modifications to any content at our sole discretion.

4.5. Content that is illegal, hateful, obscene, defamatory, or violates any person's rights will be rejected and may result in account termination.

5. Revenue Sharing

5.1. Revenue share percentages are determined by your creator tier and partnership agreement on the platform.

5.2. Current revenue share tiers are: Starter (25%), Bronze (30%), Silver (35%), Gold (40%), Diamond (45%), and Elite (50%). These percentages may be updated with 30 days' notice.

5.3. Revenue is calculated based on actual earnings from platform monetization (ads, sponsorships, etc.) for your specific content. Earnings are recorded monthly.

5.4. View counts and revenue figures displayed on the dashboard are based on data from third-party platforms and may experience delays of up to 48 hours.

5.5. We reserve the right to adjust earnings in cases of fraudulent views, bot traffic, or platform clawbacks.

6. Payments & Cashouts

6.1. The minimum cashout amount is ₹500 (Indian Rupees).

6.2. Cashout requests are processed within 7 working days via UPI or direct bank transfer, as specified in your profile.

6.3. You are responsible for providing accurate payment information. We are not liable for failed payments due to incorrect UPI IDs or bank details.

6.4. All payments are made in Indian Rupees (INR). Applicable taxes (including TDS) will be deducted as required by Indian tax law.

6.5. We reserve the right to withhold payments if we have reasonable suspicion of fraudulent activity or Terms violations.

7. Creator Obligations

7.1. You agree not to submit content that you do not have the rights to distribute.

7.2. You agree not to use bots, paid services, or any artificial means to inflate view counts or engagement metrics.

7.3. You agree not to create multiple accounts or engage in any activity designed to manipulate the tier system.

7.4. You agree to respond to our communications in a timely manner, especially regarding content review feedback.

8. Termination

8.1. You may deactivate your account at any time by contacting our support team. Pending earnings will be paid out within 30 days of account closure.

8.2. We may terminate or suspend your account immediately for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or illegal conduct.

8.3. Upon termination, your published content may remain on partner platforms but no further revenue will be shared with you for views accrued after termination.

8.4. We may discontinue the platform with 90 days' notice. In such case, all pending earnings will be paid out.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1. The platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

9.2. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

9.3. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the total amount paid to you through the platform in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

10.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.

10.2. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or platform notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
